Hey! I’m Alexandra (she/her). I am an acupuncturist, herbalist, and the Clinical Medical Director at Woven Bodies. I hold a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health Sciences, with specialized training in acupuncture and herbal medicine. I also have a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Elementary Education from Middlebury College.

My clinical focus is in reproductive health, fertility, and perinatal care. I believe that acupuncture and traditional medicine offer profound tools for navigating these transitions with more ease, resilience, and balance.

MY APPROACH IS HOLISTIC AND COLLABORATIVE — FOCUSING ON THE PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, AND SPIRITUAL ASPECTS OF HEALING.

I’ve worked in hospital settings, including NYU-Langone’s Labor and Delivery Unit, and studied with renowned practitioners like Claudia Citkovitz and Jill Blakeway, renowned fertility specialist and author of Making Babies, at the YinOva Center in NYC.

As a mother of three, my wife Morgane and I founded Woven Bodies to create the kind of nurturing support we wished for during our own family-building journey. We’re proud to call the Hudson Valley home, where we continue to grow our family and our practice

The Green Bottle Method

What is a sliding scale?

Money isn’t just about what’s in your bank account—it’s shaped by things like generational wealth, caregiving responsibilities, and the hidden costs of living in different bodies (black, indigenous, queer, white, cis, ablebodied). A sliding scale is a way to make care more accessible while keeping our work sustainable. Those who have more financial flexibility contribute more, so those with less access can still receive support.

How do I choose what to pay?

We use the Green Bottle method to help you decide what’s fair based on your financial situation. Take a look at the chart below and choose the level that feels right for you. See the image on the right for the chart. So, what payment would be right for you?

If you’re in Tier 1: $185/initial or $160/follow-up
If you’re in Tier 2: $110 - $130
If you’re in Tier 3: $100

Each tier is represented with a drawing of a green bottle containing different statements about financial stability and needs, with Tier 3 being the most financially secure, Tier 2 moderately secure, and Tier 1 the least secure. The infographic emphasizes the importance of basic needs, expendable income, and financial independence.
